Crane Drop Shape Cool Mist Humidifier Review - This humidifier works really well. It starts pumping out visible cold steam in seconds. It's almost completely silent, except a few bubbles. It's small and light. It's difficult to refill, due to no handles to carry it with and the awkward shape does not sit on any flat surface while you fumble to replace the cap or carry it between rooms. The cleaning is easy, except the chute that the steam travels up is too small to clean and collects scale. My only real disappointment is that the springs in the cap rusted within the first month of daily use. Each time I empty the base it's full of brown water and rusty pieces of spring. I think you have to be extremely diligent about emptying and drying this thing every day, otherwise it will deteriorate. Considering the price, I might just buy another one anyways, as it really does beat the numerous ones I've tried.
